I believe that my patients should be well-informed about all aspects of their care. Knowledgeable patients make better decisions, and are more involved in their care. That is why I explain each step of the diagnostic process to determine your treatment options. These may or may not include surgery. I encourage learning from any other sources you trust (Internet, friends, another doctor, etc.), and asking questions. I welcome discussing anything you find, so we can apply it to your individual case.I believe in a comprehensive program with the goal of returning you to full function without pain. I incorporate the latest advancements with the proven traditional methods to reach this goal. I prefer a hands-on approach, so I take care of all casts and wounds myself, and see all my own patients. This program also encourages your involvement in the decision process and participation in all therapeutic measures. I feel this approach will optimize your final outcome.
