Carolyn De La Cruz, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is chief of plastic surgery at UPMC Shadyside, director of the Comprehensive Lymphedema Center, and is an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. De La Cruz received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her residency in general surgery at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and her residency in plastic surgery at the University of Miami, followed by her fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
