Tammy Brady, MD, PhD, MHS, is a pediatric nephrologist and hypertension specialist who has focused her career on caring for individuals at increased cardiovascular disease risk through research and clinical innovation. She is a recognized expert in blood pressure measurement and blood pressure device validation, serving on the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)/ISO Sphygmomanometer committees and as co-chair of the American Medical Association’s Validated Device Listing Committee. She co-edited the 5th edition of the textbook, Pediatric Hypertension, contributing a chapter on blood pressure measurement.
