Overview
Dr. Victor Carlson is an orthopaedic surgeon originally from North Logan, Utah. He was the Valedictorian of Utah State University, before graduating in the top percentile of his medical class at Thomas Jefferson University. He completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Utah followed by two fellowships - first in hip and knee replacements at OrthoCarolina and a second in knee preservation and sports injuries at the Melbourne Knee Centre. He is adjunct faculty at the University of Utah.
Dr. Carlson's clinical interests include the entire spectrum of knee disorders ranging from sports-related injuries to arthritis. He offers a unique perspective by performing all modern knee surgeries ranging from arthroscopy to complex knee replacements to fractures. This approach allows him to have a comprehensive understanding of the knee joint and how best to fix it when damaged. For his work on anterior knee pain, he was awarded The American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Excellence in Research Award. Dr. Carlson also performs hip replacements and fixes fractures. �
Dr. Carlson is happily married and a proud father. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family, skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater kayaking.

Dr. Chalmers completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he received multiple teaching and research awards. He completed his fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis.Dr. Chalmers is a native of Portland, Oregon.
