Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Nelson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo and her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She served her residency at Mercy Medical Center Residency Family Practice in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Nelson is board certified in family practice and is certified by NCQA in both diabetes and heart/stroke management.�My goal is to help each patient live their best life possible by understanding their needs and forming a strong patient/doctor partnership. I enjoy my patients and their life experiences.
