Overview
Dr. Andrew Wong graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. In addition to his traditional medical training, he has special expertise in integrative and functional medicine with a focus on optimal health and wellness. Dr. Wong believes healing is achieved by combining a systems biology approach to health and illness, called integrative and functional medicine, which emphasizes personalized lifestyle and nutritional changes. A community of practitioners, focusing on healing, can assist patients in cultivating a whole-person balance of mind, body, and spirit. Dr. Wong is a fellowship graduate of the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine, and has completed training overseen by the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Kalish Institute. In his spare time, he enjoys running, meditation, yoga, cooking, and spending time with his lovely wife and 2 young children.
