Brian J. McGinley, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine, hip and knee reconstruction specialist. He has provided orthopedic care for the patients of Suffolk County for more than 20 years, caring for thousands of patients. Dr. McGinley lectures nationally and internationally on computer assisted and robotic assisted total knee replacement surgery.Dr. McGinley has been on the forefront of developing computer navigation in total knee replacement surgery since 2002. He received a US Patent for developing a precision cutting instrument used in total knee replacement surgery. Dr. McGinley performed the first robotically assisted total knee replacement in the world using the Navio System.Dr. McGinley served as assistant team physician for the New York Knicks, team physician for the Long Island Lizards lacrosse team and US Open Golf Player's Physician Bethpage Black, NY, 2002.
