Dr. Steven Sclafani
Overview
Dr. Steven Sclafani is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in sports medicine, with an interest in arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and joint preservation surgery. His surgical practice focuses on disorders of the shoulder and knee, in particular, sports injuries and cartilage repairs. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Morris County Medical Society.Dr. Sclafani is also Head Team Physician for the Skylands Hockey Team and Sports Orthopedic Consultant for The College of Saint Elizabeth and Pope John XXIII Regional High School.“My goal is to have my patients return to their pre-injury activities. I look at each patient and injury on an individual basis, applying my training and experience to tailor the appropriate non-operative or operative treatment plan.
