I take care of a wide spectrum of pulmonary diseases and do a lot of research in sepsis and acute lung injury. I enjoy the challenge in medicine and the gratification of taking care of patients. My approach to patients has always been very warm and empathetic, but also very honest and forthcoming. When I see someone get better or when I feel like I’ve made a difference in someone’s life, it’s very touching and reminds me why I chose to serve in the medical field. I am an avid outdoors person and love hiking, spending time in the mountains, and traveling. I am also a dancer and enjoy doing ballet.
