Philosophy of care | I believe in patient-centered care. I will observe, listen, evaluate and educate as we discuss your health, not only fulfilling your expectations, but also providing you the best possible care. Although the disease is the same, no two patients are alike. | Why I entered medicine | Coming from a family of medical professionals, medicine was the obvious choice for me. The value and satisfaction of helping an ailing person were instilled in me since childhood. Additionally, I find no greater joy than helping people while still pursuing my passion for medicine and science. | Community involvement | I have been involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program, and with health fairs offered by BAPS Charities, a global organization. I plan to continue contributing to community wellness. | Personal interests | I like spending my free time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, reading, watching TV and movies.

My childhood play involved doctors and hospitals, where I would care for “sick” dolls and stuffed animals. During grade school I enjoyed science and tried herbal medicines on my family members. I felt great satisfaction when my herbal tea remedies made them feel better. As a high school student, I found a program that allowed early college attendance where I was able to study medicine. | Community involvement | I support church charity, volunteering at my daughter's school and medical missionary trips. | Personal interests | I like cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with my family and dog.
