Overview
Bryan Parrent, MD, is a board-certified surgeon by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Parrent is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. He completed his Bachelor's in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Texas A&M University in 1996, graduating Magna Cum Laude. In 2000, Dr. Parrent completed medical school at the Texas A&M Health Science Center in College Station, Texas, followed by his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. As a general surgeon, Dr. Parent specializes in treatment using the Davinci Robot for minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Parrent was named one of Texas Monthly's Rising Stars from 2012 to 2014 and Super Doctors from 2015 to the present.
