He is currently a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the International Cartilage Repair Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. LaRose, with many of his partners at Arrowhead Orthopaedics, is an assistant clinical professor associated with Loma Linda University. He is involved in teaching and training of the LLU orthopaedic residents at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC). Dr. LaRose was born and raised in Claremont, CA. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, where he played 4 years of soccer. He continued on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Cinncinati College of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery training at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. LaRose remains active himself, spending his free time running, golfing and playing in the odd pick-up soccer game. He returns to Claremont with his wife, Melissa, and their daughter, Marlow.
