Overview
Dr. McGonnell has dedicated the practice of medicine to the care of infants, children, and adolescents. He is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and Dallas Medical Society. He takes a special interest in the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as well as behavior management.
Dr. McGonnell completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware. He practiced for 5 years in Northern Virginia prior to joining Forest Lane Pediatrics in 2006. Dr. McGonnell has been recognized as a Mom Approved Doctor by DFW Child Magazine in 2017.
His wife Dr. Ann Liu is also a pediatrician with Forest Lane Pediatrics. They are proud parents to Paige and Liam. The family enjoys outdoor activities including 5K runs, walking their dogs, and hiking.
