I prioritize preventive care and promoting healthy lifestyles from an early age. I am grateful to have the opportunity for open communication with my patients and their parents to empower families to actively participate in their child's health care journey. | Why I entered medicine | The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives led me into the medical field. Witnessing the transformative impact health care professionals have on individuals and communities inspired me to pursue a career where I could combine my passion for science with my innate desire to serve others. | Community involvement | For over a decade, I've volunteered in underserved areas of my home country, providing essential medical care to families. During my residency, I extended this commitment by supporting immigrant children in Texas. These experiences have reinforced my dedication to pediatric care and advocating for all children, regardless of their circumstances. | Personal interests | I'm passionate about providing comprehensive support for newborns, emphasizing the importance of preventive care to ensure lifelong health and wellness, and addressing mental and behavioral health concerns in children.
