Overview
Dr. Naveed Sheikh hails from Pakistan, where he studied medicine at Punjab Medical College and Allama Iqbal Medical College. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Sheikh completed his first internship at Jinnah Hospital in Pakistan.
He completed a second internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center in New York. He later completed fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Interventional Pulmonary. He is also a member of the American Association of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and the American College of Chest Physicians.
His hobbies include listening and playing music (keyboard), as well as playing cricket and table tennis.
