I am truly honored to provide care for patients with breast cancer and high-risk breast disease. I recognize that I enter patients’ lives at one of their most vulnerable moments. It is my goal to make sure that all patients feel cared for and confident that I will work hard for them and use the most advanced surgical techniques to treat their disease. Also, I like to focus on the aesthetic outcome of breast surgery while treating disease. I am proud to be part of Duke Health where I know patients receive high-quality cancer care, as well as access to the resources and support that help patients during their treatment.

As a surgeon, I enjoy operating, but my favorite part of my work is developing a relationship with my patients, while providing them with the most state of the art breast care. My patients inspire me on a daily basis. I’m always impressed with their strength and conviction. The field of breast cancer research has exploded in recent years in terms of advancements in both diagnosis and personalized treatment options, which keeps me excited and energized. What’s great about our practice is that not only is it an intimate setting and convenient location, but we also have all the tools and specialists of a large practice.
