Dr. Todd M. Wente

Dr. John Shank is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle injuries. He has treated high school, college, and professional athletes, including Olympic medalists and players from the MLB, NFL, and NHL. Dr. Shank has served as foot and ankle consultant for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos, and currently consults for the Olympic Training Center and Colorado College. He treats sports injuries, trauma, and performs both simple and complex foot and ankle reconstructions. His expertise includes arthritis, cartilage injuries, fractures, and deformities. Scott G. Resig, M.D.is board certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Resig specializes in complex conditions of the lower extremity with a focus in foot and ankle as well as hip and knee joint replacement at Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Denver and Parker, Colorado. Dr. Resig pursued his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin, graduating with distinction. He received his medical degree and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completing his residency, he pursued fellowship training at the Adidas Sports Medicine Institute and then continued his fellowship training in orthopedic foot & ankle surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Resig is currently the Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Sky Ridge Medical Center. He moved to Denver and joined Denver-Vail Orthopedics, P.C. in 2004. Dr. Robert Leland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and dual fellowship trained in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and orthopedic trauma who has practiced in Colorado since 2001. He subsequently returned to Detroit as Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery in the Department of Orthopedics at Wayne State University and Chief of Orthopedics at the VA Medical Center where he was twice awarded the Teacher of the Year Award. Dr. Leland currently serves as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado and received the Colonel Alan Bucknell Award for Teacher of the Year in 2020.
