Dr. Edward J. Mcclain

Edward J. McClain, III, MD, is a graduate of West Virginia University. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at UPMC, as well as a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Indiana University. He is board- certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. McClain is a member of several professional and scientific organizations, including the Society for Arthritic Joint Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in total joint surgery, MIS surgery, arthroscopy, revision joint surgery, and general orthopaedics. Dr. McClain currently serves as medical director of Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates – UPMC and as clinical assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. McClain and his partners at Three Rivers Orthopedic Associates – UPMC were also recently acknowledged among Pittsburgh’s “Best Doctors” in 2016.
