He is also interested in identification of obstructive sleep apnea in children with tracheostomies prior to decannulation of the tracheostomy. He was a member of the group that defined the effects of adenotonsillectomy in children with obstructive sleep apnea in a large multicenter study (the ChAt study). In his role as program director of pediatric pulmonology, he is interested in the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic on training, trainees, and faculty.
