Dr. Alphonse Ambrosia is a board-certified interventional cardiologist with expertise in coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, stroke and carotid artery disease, coronary angiography and angioplasty, carotid angioplasty and stenting, renal artery angioplasty and stenting, TEE, PFO closure, TAVI procedure, and Watchman procedure. Dr. Ambrosia earned his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. He completed his internship at Mesa General Hospital and his residency and post-doctoral fellowship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (Phoenix, AZ). Dr. Ambrosia was awarded the AOMA Humanitarian Award in 2018, along with Top Doctor Recognitions in 2012 and 2014.My desire, as a physician with CVAM Cardiology, is that we will provide you with the best cardiac care possible.  We will deliver the most advanced coronary and cardiac interventional techniques and technology in both the hospital and office.  We will provide this in a relaxed setting that will allow you to have all your concerns addressed.
