He is recognized throughout his profession as an award-winning writer, teacher and researcher. Dr. Goodman also has participated in surgical mission trips to Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua.An involved community member on the Central Coast, Dr. Goodman and his wife, a family physician, are raising their daughter in the Santa Maria area.
