I find it empowering and intimate to be able to positively impact a patient’s life. It’s not something everyone gets to do, and I don’t take this privilege for granted. I continually learn from my patients so I can keep providing the best care possible. | Community involvement | Throughout college I participated in volunteer spring breaks. This included disaster relief after Hurricane Katrina helping victims in Texas and Mississippi. I was also involved in many Habitat for Humanity projects. | Currently, I’m involved with the Jim Thorpers bicycle team, which rides yearly in the Tour de Shore Charity Ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City to raise donations for families of fallen first responders. | Personal interests | Growing up in Palmerton, Pa., I’ve always been a fan of the outdoors.
