Finding Medical Research, News & Studies
What is Latest Research?
Latest Research are summaries of the most recent articles published in medical journals. There are over 2 million new scientific papers published every year. Medical knowledge is increasing so rapidly today that even experts can’t keep up with every new advance. In fact, it is estimated that the world’s medical knowledge doubles about every 73 days.
MediFind scours medical publication databases to find the newest research and summarizes the articles, often within weeks of their publication. Latest Research is the cutting-edge of medical knowledge that has been peer-reviewed, meaning that all articles in this section have been reviewed by others working in the same field, the current gold-standard for scientific research. This includes research findings from completed clinical trials. MediFind does not currently include “preprint” articles from sources like medRxiv and bioRxiv because these have not yet passed the rigorous peer review process.
How does Latest Research work?
MediFind helps ensure that you’ll never miss an important new treatment, clinical trial, or research finding that could help you make the best health decisions. Using a combination of cutting-edge machine learning techniques, proprietary natural language processing algorithms, and our team of medical experts, we review well over 100,000 new pieces of global medical information every month and extract the most important new advances in every condition. Then, we summarize the findings and simplify the terminology so you can more easily take action on the information.
