William E. Saar, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and a member of its orthopaedic foot and ankle team. He attended the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland. He then completed an orthopaedic foot and ankle reconstruction fellowship at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio, where he refined his skills in minimally invasive arthroscopic ankle techniques and reconstructive procedures for complex foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Saar joined Pittsburgh-based Tri Rivers Surgical Associates, now Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers, in 2011. He is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Allegheny County Medical Society.
