
Overview
Dr. Peter Aiello is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and his residency in Ophthalmology at Tulane Medical Center Hospital, where he was given the O'Brien award for excellence. Dr. Aiello went on to fellowships in cornea and external disease, and oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the Oregon Health Science Center in Portland. Dr. Aiello has taught and has been in private practice in Phoenix for twenty years.He has made Phoenix Magazine's Top Doc list many times and is a member of the Editorial Board of Skull Base Interdisciplinary Magazine, as well as being a BNI Skull Base Team Ophthalmologist. Dr. Aiello is the Founder and Medical Director of AzOTS (Arizona Ocular Trauma Service), which provides ophthalmology trauma service in Phoenix Metropolitan area hospitals.He enjoys spending time with his family, extreme skiing and is an avid tennis player.
