Dr. Atallah is internationally recognized for his work in rectal cancer, and for developing innovative approaches in the field of colon and rectal surgery. He is the co-creator of TAMIS, an operation that allows for the removal of rectal tumors without having to cut into the body.He is an active member of several surgical societies, and is the current Chairman of the New Technology Committee at the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr. Atallah has relocated from Orlando, Florida where he as earned the distinction of 'Top Doc' by Orlando Magazine annually from 2011-2024.Dr. Atallah is a true expert in the field, and has authored three textbooks and over 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
