Dhanur Damodar, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialty experience in sports medicine. Dr. Damodar ensures that his patients receive the best, most effective treatment, even if that means nonsurgical care. He is a clinician and physician first, and his philosophy is to try non-operative treatments in any situation where they can be effective. If a patient requires surgery, he strives to set appropriate expectations and focus on pre- and postoperative education. Having taken care of patients at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, Dr. Damodar understands how to manage the needs of high level athletes as well as the weekend warrior/busy parent looking to stay active.
