"Philosophy of care | While caring for children of all ages, my goal is to help them grow and develop to reach their full potential. I hope to teach them about their health and, as they become older, to encourage them to take an active role in their health care. I work with each young patient and their parents/guardians to ensure the best course of action for each child regarding their specific diseases and illnesses. | Why I entered medicine | Within the medical field, I chose pediatrics because it combined my love of science and children. I enjoy puzzles and ""figuring things out,"" which is something you must do often as a physician. I also love seeing kids grow and become young adults. I feel honored to play a role in their childhood. | Community involvement | I am actively involved in the flu drive at LVHN. I am also involved in advancing LGBTQ+ health care within LVHN and our community. | Personal interests | My free time is spent with friends and my animals. I have a yorkiepoo/corgi named Sophie and two black cats named Karl and Cooper! I also enjoying gardening and watching the birds in my backyard. I am trying to be a runner and just recently ran my first race!".
