A mom of two young boys, Dr. Hackett loves meeting other parents, listening to their stories, and working with them to ensure their children have the best opportunity to be healthy and thrive!Dr. Hackett is dedicated to treating the full range of childhood ear, nose and throat disorders, including congenital head and neck masses, airway disorders, hearing loss, chronic nasal congestion, snoring and sleep apnea, and chronic infections of the ears, nose and throat. She grounds her treatment plans in the most up-to-date evidence based practice guidelines but also aims to tailor her recommendations to individual patient and family.Dr. Hackett is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. She completed her Otolaryngology residency at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by sub-specialty training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. She spent the first 8 years of her career in academics with Mount Sinai Hospital before pivoting to private practice in October of 2022.
