Overview
I love practicing in primary care. I knew from the moment I applied to physician assistant school that I would work in primary care. What I enjoy most is being apart of people's families, learning who they are and working to keep them healthy. I like to treat the entire family from birth to geriatrics. But I have a special place in my heart for children. I believe that each encounter with a patient is a time to get to know them and care for them. Hopefully, when the visit is over, they leave knowing more about their health and how to stay healthy. I truly feel honored to be a part of my patient’s lives. I am married with two young children. I love hiking by the Eno River with my family, reading fiction and watching movies.
