Dr. Luis A. Quiel
Overview
Lead and manage the operations of a large hospitalist group, overseeing quality improvement, patient safety, utilization review, medication safety, and peer review for the Hospitalist Division. I also serve as Assistant professor of Medicine and Faculty for a large Internal Medicine Residency Program. I have over 10 years of experience in internal medicine and hospital medicine, with a focus Clinical Innovation, Operations, and gastrointestinal clinical research.
I am a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management and MBA graduate at Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst.
