Dr. Elisa A. Stein

I have been a Professor of Plastic Surgery at Duke University and the University of Heidelberg, Germany since 2003. I am part-time affiliated with the Durham VA Medical Center, Section of Plastic Surgery serving our veterans and their families. I enjoy working in an academic environment and being able to cover a variety of plastic surgery cases. My main interest is plastic and reconstructive surgery, including repair of the abdomen and chest, breast, extremities, and face, head, and neck surgery, including microsurgery. My passion is to provide body contouring procedures for patients who have experienced significant weight loss, such as after gastric bypass surgery.
