Dr. Elizabeth Bonefas

Dr. Elizabeth Bonefas is a surgical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of diseases of the breast including patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Bonefas’ clinical interests include: surgical oncology, breast surgery, mastectomy, lumpectomy, lymph node dissection and breast conservation surgery. Dr. Bonefas received her medical degree from the University Of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston. Dr. Bonefas is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, American College of Surgeons - South Texas Chapter, Houston Surgical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society.
