Dr. Ajay Gurbani
Overview
Dr. Gurbani is a board-certified, fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in Foot and Ankle surgery. He is an Orange County native, and is happy to provide care to the community that he grew up in. Prior to joining SCOS, he practiced for several years as faculty at UCLA.
Dr. Gurbani completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University. Following this, he completed medical school and Orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA. He then completed his orthopaedic Foot and Ankle fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, training with leaders within the field, before returning home to Southern California. Dr. Gurbani has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, authored chapters in textbooks, and presented his work at national and international meetings. He serves as a peer reviewer for Foot and Ankle International journal, and is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
