Overview
R. Jay Lee, M.D. specializes in pediatric sports medicine for children, adolescents and young adults with a wide range of orthopaedic and sports medicine issues. His areas of clinical interest include the treatment of sports-related injuries, including knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle issues. Dr. Lee completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was a team physician for the Orioles. He completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, with a special focus on pediatric sports medicine. Dr. Lee subsequently joined the Johns Hopkins Department of Orthopaedic Surgery's Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics. Dr. Lee is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society and the American Orthopaedic Association.
