Practicing medicine has been a dream for Dr. Sabic since the age of 10, while volunteering for Doctors Without Borders in a refugee camp. After graduating from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Nutrition, Dr. Sabic decided to focus on Podiatry because he was interested in many components of the field: sports medicine, surgery, and trauma.Dr. Sabic graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University of Podiatric Medicine) and moved back to Arizona for a 3-year surgical residency for foot and ankle. He graduated with over 3 times the required surgical numbers and with over 5 times the clinical requirement numbers! Dr. Sabic truly knows how to go the extra mile for his patients.When he's not in the office, Dr. Sabic enjoys adventuring with his family (spouse, son, and a daughter on the way!), playing basketball, outdoor activities, and working on cars and motorcycles. His goal is to work with his patients as a team, and prevent recurrence of foot and ankle issues to keep people doing what they love. When that happens, Dr. Sabic will help you with any of your foot or ankle care. He believes that first a careful diagnosis is needed, followed by a treatment plan that focuses first on conservative treatments while still keeping the patient in mind. If the conservative treatments fail, he can give recommendations for more aggressive treatment options, which may include surgery. If a surgical procedure is required, he will explain everything that will happen and follow up to ensure a full recovery is made. As a hospitalist and foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Wilde has extensive podiatry experience. He graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and later completed an in-depth, three-year surgical residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. His training there consisted of forefoot and rear foot surgery with an emphasis on trauma, diabetic reconstruction, and wound care.
