Dr. Thomas Schleichert

Thomas Schleichert, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon who provides safe, high quality patient care. Understanding that surgery can be a stressful and intimidating event, he strives to ease these sentiments by building a trusting relationship with each patient and creating a supportive environment. His goal is for his patients to feel confident that all their questions and concerns have been addressed and that they will receive the best care possible. He believes in maintaining cost-effective practices, and uses evidence-based medicine to drive and support this approach.Dr. Schleichert trained with renowned colorectal surgeons at the Ferguson Clinic and has extensive experience practicing at a Breast Cancer Center of Excellence (Grand Rapids, Michigan). He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and American Medical Association.Outside of work, Dr. Schleichert enjoys being outdoors with his wife and daughters, ice hockey, baseball and skiing.
