Overview
I was inspired to become a family medicine doctor because it provides an opportunity to know patients over a lifetime, through all of life's transitions. It is my joy to take care of patients of all ages with diverse backgrounds and experiences. My specific interests include breastfeeding medicine, care of women including during pregnancy and birth, and supporting families. I also have a special interest in addiction medicine. I am board certified in Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine and have certification in Perinatal Mental Health. Outside of work, my husband, and I keep busy chasing our four children.

It was here in North Carolina that I first discovered my passion for family medicine while working with a country doctor at the foot of Grandfather Mountain. Today, I continue to find that same joy in my medical practice as I get to know folks of all ages and work with them to achieve their health goals.
