Overview
Dr. Russell has been a practicing OB/GYN physician since 1994. She most recently worked at her own solo practice in Selma, Alabama. She graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with a B.A. in Biology and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1990. She completed her residency in OB/GYN at Vanderbilt University in Nashville in 1994 and continued to work there in teh Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an Instructor and Director of Intern Didactic Teaching until 1996.She has been involved in administration as well, serving as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, AL and the Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Montclair Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
