Overview
Dr. Andres� areas of interest is perinatal substance abuse, diabetes, premature rupture of the membranes, fetal asphyxia, perinatal outreach and quality/safety initiatives in obstetrics.
He completed his undergraduate education at Nebraska Wesleyan University and received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Following this he completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. Following his fellowship training he was on the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for 10 years before returning to Utah and his current position.
