He currently serves on the editorial boards for a number of journals including Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Global Open. He has given over 40 invited talks nationally and internationally on subjects related to pediatric craniofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery, and facial trauma reconstruction.Dr. Susarla is one of the few craniomaxillofacial surgeons in the country who is board certified in both Plastic Surgery and Oral/Maxillofacial surgery.
