Dr. Paul K. Treadwell

EDUCATION Dr. Schwartz attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for his undergraduate studies. In May 1996, he graduated with a major in cell and molecular biology. Dr. Schwartz received his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno in 2001, where he received the Excellence in Research award from the Western Student Medical Research Forum. He served as President of the American College of Physicians, UNSOM medical student section from 1998-1999. He completed his internship in 2002 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His residency was completed in radiation oncology in 2006 at McGill University Health Center, where he was Chief Resident.AREAS OF SPECIAL INTEREST Specializes in using Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for the treatment of various cancer types including prostate, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, head and neck and gynecologic cancers.EXPERIENCE Dr. Schwartz joined Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada as a radiation oncologist in July 2006 and currently serves as a member of the Radiation Executive Committee of The US Oncology Network and the Clinical Pathways Committee. Dr. Schwartz serves as the Chairman of the Marketing Committee of Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, and is the Chairman of the Board of Managers of the Las Vegas Cyberknife.  Dr. Schwartz also participates in clinical research and has served as principal investigator on various groundbreaking research studies at the practice. In addition, he has authored/co-authored several scientific papers and has been a speaker at conferences in the field of radiation therapy. Dr. Schwartz was named Top Doctor by Las Vegas Life magazine and was recognized as a Medical Marvel by Nevada Business Magazine in 2012, 2013 and 2014.PERSONALDr. Schwartz and his wife have two daughters. EDUCATIONDr. Sinopoli attended Duke University for his undergraduate studies, graduating with honors in public policy, and earned his Medical Doctorate from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduating medical school, he did his internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and completed his residency training in radiation oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He has also authored scientific papers and been a speaker at several national and international conferences in radiation oncology.Since joining CCCN, Dr. Sinopoli has been an active member in the Las Vegas community, and serves on the Board for Family and Child Treatment of Southern Nevada. He has also been named a Top Doctor in Radiation Oncology by several publications, including the US News & World Report, Vegas Seven, and Desert Companion.PERSONALDr. Sinopoli grew up in Philadelphia as one of seven children. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, wine tasting, photography, and travel. Dr. Sinopoli and his fiancée, Nikki, recently had a baby girl named Lily. Telehealth visits are available Michael Anderson, MD is a radiation oncologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN), specializing in the treatment of head and neck cancer, and prostate cancer through Brachytherapy and IMRT. Dr. Anderson served as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Sunrise Hospital Cancer Committee from 2007-2009 and is a member of numerous professional organizations.I believe that care is partnership. I try to develop a relationship with my patient that entails mutual respect, trust and understanding. I believe in being honest and truthful as this fosters the partnership. I try to give my patients the feeling of a sense of accomplishment when they finish these often difficult treatments. I try to my best to inspire them because they ultimately are the inspiration for me.
