Tammy Chiesa, M.D. is an internal medicine physician who specializes in bone health in general and osteoporosis in the adult population. There is a huge need to look at the underlying reasons why women (and men) have fractures — and to treat them,” she said. “Ultimately, reducing osteoporosis rates, and treating osteoporosis effectively, could really help improve quality of life and reduce morbidity for many people.”.
