Dr. Jennifer Peifer
Overview
I enjoy assisting patients with both the primary prevention of cardiovascular disease and with the chronic management of cardiovascular disease. My interests are general and consultative cardiology, which includes primary prevention, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, lipid disorders, valvular disorders, and coronary artery disease. Prior to becoming a physician assistant (PA), I worked as a cardiovascular technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab. Since I completed the PA program, I have continued to work in cardiology. I am originally from southeastern Pennsylvania and have enjoyed living in North Carolina since the mid-1990s.
