Originally from Ohio, Dr. Jahangiri earned her medical degree and completed both her internship and residency at Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. She went on to complete a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. Dr. Jahangiri has been practicing medicine for 6 years. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal cancers, blood disorders and blood cancers.�I believe strongly in providing high quality oncology care for patients on the Western Slope. Cancer is so scary, and I want to help patients understand their diagnosis and options so that they can decide the best path for them. My job is to serve as a guide and support through that process.�When not working, Dr. Jahangiri enjoys running, a good book and Broadway shows. He enjoys watching sports and rooting for his favorite teams including the Kansas City Chiefs. However, his wife is a native Denverite and makes sure to balance out his love of the Chiefs with her love of the Broncos.
