"Dr. Nihaal Karnik is a therapeutic endoscopist, also known as an advanced or interventional endoscopist. He specializes in diagnosis, treatment and management of disorders of the pancreas and bile ducts (liver ducts), as well as in complex endoscopic procedures.|After earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Karnik completed his residency at Drexel University and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his general gastroenterology fellowship training at SUNY University Hospital in Brooklyn.|Afterward, he spent a year at the Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, focusing on therapeutic endoscopy and training with some of the pioneers in the field.
