After graduating from college, I was awarded a Fulbright fellowship and moved to Dublin, Ireland to work for the European Institute of Women’s Health. Shuffling between Birmingham and Boston for my medical training, I have settled in beautiful North Carolina with my husband who is a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at the University of North Carolina. I am actively working on projects that focus on antibody-based therapies targeting immune dysregulation in skin disease.  The most gratifying experiences for me as a physician have been providing treatment and support to patients struggling with skin diseases and contributing to improvements in their overall quality of life.
