Dr. Johnson Dellosa
Overview
A board-certified family practitioner, Dr. Dellosa joined Texas Health Medical Associates in September of 2007 as one of the original four physicians to be a part of THMA. At his family medicine practice in Alvarado, Texas, Dr. Dellosa provides initial, continuing and comprehensive care for families and individuals of all ages and both sexes.We are proud to introduce the newest member of our team, James Dechavez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C. We are excited James has joined us in our efforts to offer a full range of care for you and your family. His arrival has allowed Dr. Dellosa to now offer evening hours Monday through Thursday to better meet your needs.Dr. Dellosa earned his bachelor’s degree from Adventist University of the Philippines and his medical degree from University of the East, both on full scholarship. He then fulfilled his internship requirements at Quezon Memorial Hospital in Lucena City, Philippines. In 1997 he completed a family practice residency at Pinnacle Health-Polyclinic Medical Center, affiliated with Pennsylvania State University in Harrisburg. A diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Dellosa has also been recognized as a Glaxo Wellcome Resident Scholar and a recipient of the Business of Medicine Graduate Certificate from Johns Hopkins University.Prior to joining THMAin 2007, Dr. Dellosa practiced family medicine for ten years at clinics in Finksburg, Maryland and Lewistown, Pennsylvania.
