Gary Berger, MD, is a primary care physician with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, he has more than 50 years of clinical experience treating children and adults for all general medical needs. A seasoned practitioner who is wise and compassionate, Dr. Berger cultivates a feeling of family with his patients and is interested in the prevention and early detection of disease to keep them healthy. Dr. Berger takes the time to get to know each patient, addressing health concerns in a straightforward and optimistic manner.Dr. Berger earned his medical degree from the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry, Newark, NJ, and completed his residency in family medicine at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ, part of Atlantic Health System, where he served as chief resident. Before joining Blair Medical Associates, Dr. Berger maintained a family medicine practice for over 40 years. In addition, he served as the medical director for two area nursing homes and has considerable knowledge and experience with older adults.Dr. Berger is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
