Overview
William Ensor, DO, is an osteopathic medicine physician who specializes in ophthalmology. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at Geisinger Eye Institute in Danville, where he served as chief resident.|Dr. Ensor is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology.|In recognition of his commitment to resident education, Dr. Ensor recently received the Louise Justin Sabol teaching award.|He serves as a fellow volunteer for the Global Impact Lab of Unite for Sight, providing eye care to impoverished people in Ghana. “In order to have a purpose in life, life must have a purpose,” he says.|Dr. Ensor has published several papers and participated in many research projects.|In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with his wife and children, who serve as his inspiration. “They all keep me grounded to see the bigger picture in life,” he says.
